Term 3 Learning Goals

Hi team!

On this page we will be posting our Term 3 Learning Goals. As with previous goals, they should follow our QUALITY COMMENTING guidelines – we’re experts at this now!!

Our goal focus for this term will be a Literacy base, so we’ve been brainstorming some of the areas in which we would like to improve – including writing specific text types; building our vocabulary; spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as developing our comprehension skills.

I look forward to reading all your goals!

  1. Dear 5NR,
I am excited to start a new term of learning. My goal for this term is to use higher modality words in my writing.
    – I will aim to pick a random word and come up with 5 synonyms.
    – I will also do this by writing the same piece of writing a few times, changing some word to their better synonyms each time.
    – Lastly, I will focus on higher modality words every time I write something.
I know I will achieve my goal if I practise. Thanks for reading!
